Wells of Salvation: Isaiah 11-12

Sometimes we feel just so doggon small. Nothing in our lives can compete with “the important” issues of the day, and nothing we can do can seem to have any possible effect on the world.

Like Judah, watching Assyria rise and hearing about Assyria’s fall in Isaiah 10, we wonder, “Do we matter”?

But then you turn to Isaiah 11 and, Behold! A tiny green sucker sprouting off the burnt stump of Judah! And He it will be who brings healing to all things! Not bad for a tiny promise made to no-count nobodies.

You have Christ? Alright. A little Christ goes a long way. Everything we do for Him, matters. Keep it up. Drink water from this well, the well of Christ, and keep going.
