Already Found: Isaiah 19-20

The world and the world’s culture can look really appealing sometimes. And we can get so wrapped up in the world’s values, wisdoms, and ways, that when trouble comes, we look to the world for our hope.

But what Isaiah clearly explains in Isaiah 19-20 is this: We already have what the world (will be and) is looking for. They have no hope; we have God’s savior, defender, deliverer: Jesus.

We have Jesus; Jesus has us. And so we have the Words that give eternal life.
