Eat or Be Eaten: Isaiah 1:1-2:5
Isaiah opens up on a court room scene. God lays out the case against Judah: the charges, the evidence, and then the verdict. But the verdict is not at all what we’d expect. It’s something surprising and gracious: it’s a choice.
Come eat the good of the land, or be eaten by the sword.
God wants His children to worship Him and to do good. But it’s not that simple, is it?
