Membership in a Local Church is the antidote to our culture's moment of idolizing freedom. We need freedom--and thank God for them--but we also need meaning and community. Only Christ's freedom is real freedom. His Spirit brings freedom to life in us through our submission to Jesus, His mission, and His church.
