The Test: 1 John 2:3-11

Society relies on tests. We test every professional in every profession—from teachers and dentists to mechanics and first-responders. But what about those who handle the most significant matters, of God, the self, the good life, and such things? How can we know if someone truly is “from God” and can be followed back into fellowship with God? Is there some kind of test for that?!

This is what 1 John 2:3-11 addresses. Turns out, there is. And always has been. And it’s clearer now than ever.
