None of us have any interest in “adversities.” And yet, “it’s through many adversities that we must enter the Kingdom of Heaven” (Acts 14:22). And isn’t it always true that the only way for the Fruit of the Spirit to grow in our lives is through adverse conditions? So God’s peace grows in “trying times.” And God’s patience blossoms when we encounter frustrating people.
