Alive and Active!
The Nazarite Vow, Right Here and Now?!?
There's something about this antiquated vestigial feature of Israelite religion that can stir up a fresh, immediate, vibrant faith. (cf. Numbers 6:2f) Christ doesn't simply invite Himself into our lives when we become His disciples; rather, firstly, He invites us to...follow Him! (Matthew 16:24) He is alive and active here and now. Realizing this, we are called to a season of focused faith. (cf. 2Tim 1:3-7)
