In what way, exactly, does God “love a cheerful giver”? It seems clear from 2 Corinthians 9 that God blesses those who invest in His Kingdom. But what is the nature of that blessing?

This is a challenging subject because there is much teaching in the Western world saying that God will bless givers with wealth. This is very, very, false. And yet, there’s some good news in this chapter that we don’t want to toss away together with the bathwater: God does in fact bless givers.
