Let's Get Real Hope: Job 15-26, part 2

As the conversation escalates, things get revealed. Last week we saw what this escalation revealed about Job’s friends. This week we see what it reveals to Job, about his hope and ours.

Job discovers that the things we love to lean on in hard times—friends and counsel—are true gifts, but they are not enough to hold up our hope when things get real.

Through the conversation Job begins to see where his hope lies: in a Savior and the Resurrection.

But it took a bit of destruction for this discovery to come to light. As is true for all of us.

We must learn what Job learned: there is no hope but the hope there is in Jesus.
