Our identity is defined by Jesus and our relationship with Him.
The “Social Order” offers us alternate sources of identity, alternate sources of righteousness and significance. These sources are often presented to us as either-or’s: Jew or Greek, Slave or Free, Male or Female, are some examples from the 1st century world.
What are the “Social Order binaries” that compete with Christ for the Christians’ identity today? What’s our version of “Jew or Greek”?
So today we talk about Nationalism.
