But For Me It is Good: Psalm 73:27-28

What is a good life? What makes a good year? In Psalm 73, Asaph journies between two answers to these questions: the first, the world’s reply—”a good life is when I’m a good Me and I get good”—and the second, is the reply of a life changed by the grace of God—”but for me, it is good to be near God… that I may tell of all His good works.”

Psalm 73 describes one person’s journey, but it’s all of our journies too. Psalm 73 describes one person’s conclusion, but it puts it to us as a closing question: What is “good” for me?
