Fellowship Bible Church exists to make disciples together, to unleash the Good News of Jesus in your life.

We believe that all people everywhere who trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins and the hope of life forever with God are “The Church.”

The Church exists to “proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

So then all Christians, all believers (i.e. you) exist to unleash the Good News about Jesus in their (your) world—among your friends, relations, and whoever enters your sphere of influence.

The local church exists to serve that process. (Fellowship Bible Church is a local church.)

Ephesians 4 describes how Jesus gave His people gifted servants whose job it is to figure out how to “equip the saints for the work of ministry.”

“The saints” is you.  This “work of ministry” is “disciple-making”: helping people move closer to Jesus. And “equipping” is what the local church exists to do.

We exist to unleash the Good News of Jesus in your life.
You exist to unleash the Good News of Jesus in your world.

This Good News, aka “The Gospel”, is the power of God that saves. (Rom 1:16, 1 Cor 1:18) The Gospel is the stories and truths about Jesus, what He did, and what that accomplished. The Gospel is what will heal our wounds, transform our hearts, and redeem our brokenness.

The Gospel is The Power. Not religion, to-do lists, manipulation, lifehacking, binge-shopping, -eating, or -streaming: there is nothing besides Jesus, in all existence, that is able to save us. (Acts 4:12)  What we need, Jesus has. (John 6:68)

God's goal is to tether us to Christ. It’s the Gospel we all of us need. Every day we need it. And that’s what the Spirit of Jesus fills the local church to do: “that we might understand the things freely given us by God.” (1 Cor 2:12; Rom 5:5)

If you’re looking for healing for your soul, forgiveness from sins, hope for life, freedom from addictions, or courage for genuine relationships, then you need God. If you need God, He has given us Jesus.

And if you want to get to know Jesus better, we’re here to help.
